Why Q&A?

Support > Why Q&A?

Throughout my time in both school and university, I was a fairly shy student. I found it hard to summon the courage to ask questions in classes of 30 let alone lecture theatres of 600. For me, open Q&A tools, such as the FLUX Q&A Activity, provide an opportunity for shy and and anxious students like me to be able to engage and build our confidence asking questions.

In fact, from my experience the benefits extend beyond shy students and actually help bring under-represented groups and international students' voices into the conversation as well.

My hope is that the articles in this series will give you everything you need to start using Q&A's in your classes and to help you amplify the voices of those who don't usually get heard.
